Research visit to the University of Wollongong

Morakot Choetkiertikul spent July and August 2019 on a research visit to the Decision Systems Lab at the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia, where he had completed his PhD, which received the university's Best Ph.D. Thesis Award. He worked there on his latest research project idea and also visited Google Australia to discuss possible collaboration. Earlier that year, in March 2019, Morakot and Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul helped secure a UIC grant, led by the UOW team, for the project “Developing UOW-ASEAN University Network for Industry 4.0”. The grant was a first step toward research and teaching collaboration between UOW and Mahidol University for Industry 4.0.
