Component recommendation paper at JCSSE 2022

Morakot Choetkiertikul presented “A component recommendation model for issues in software projects” at JCSSE 2022, the 19th International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, held from 22 to 25 June 2022 at Silpakorn University in Bangkok. The work comes from Pacawat Kangwanwisit's research internship at the Software Engineering Laboratory of NAIST. The model supports issue triage by recommending the software components that a new issue relates to, based on the text of the issue. It outperformed traditional baselines for recommendation systems, and among the text representations that the study compared, TF-IDF worked well in most cases.
