Best EDU Paper Award at APSEC 2022

Our paper “Virtual Reality for Software Engineering Presentations” won the Best EDU Paper Award in the Software Engineering Education (EDU) track of APSEC 2022, the 29th Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Conference. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul and Morakot Choetkiertikul wrote it with Apirak Hoonlor and Mores Prachyabrued. The study used virtual reality for students' class project presentations and found that it can help increase the students' engagement, their interaction, and their feeling of presence. The same teaching technique had earned our course ITCS431 Software Design and Development an honorable mention from Mahidol University in 2021.
