Sakura Science program at NAIST

Komsan Kongwongsupak, Thanakrit Maneesawas, and Natpichsinee Puttiwarodom, the three students of our jscefr project, spent two weeks at the Software Engineering Laboratory of NAIST in January 2023 through the Sakura Science program. They studied the competency level of code in React projects, which meant learning new methods such as correlation analysis and statistical tests, and presented their results at the end of the stay. Together with three students from UMS in Indonesia, they finished their final reports and received Sakura Science certificates from the president of NAIST. The study grew into jscefr, a tool that estimates the proficiency needed to understand JavaScript code, which was accepted at ICSME 2024.
