Privacy study accepted in ACM Computing Surveys
A systematic literature review by Dr. Pattaraporn Sangaroonsilp, “A Study on the Prevalence of Privacy in Software Engineering”, was accepted for publication in ACM Computing Surveys. Pattaraporn wrote it with Prof. Hoa Khanh Dam of the University of Wollongong. The review analyzed 187 primary studies and found privacy considerations in 12.14% of the software engineering research it examined. It also maps the common problem types, contributions, validation methods, and research focus areas, and it points to opportunities for researchers, academics, and practitioners. The paper is open access.
