COVID-19 and remote work study at InCIT 2025
Our study “The Impact of COVID-19 and Remote Work on Software Development in Thailand” was accepted for publication at InCIT 2025. We surveyed 194 Thai software developers about the challenges and benefits of remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results show no statistically significant differences in productivity or well-being before and after the shift to remote work. As in many global studies, Thai developers met both advantages and challenges, and the survey also found some perspectives specific to Thailand. The findings may also inform other Asian countries and other low- and middle-income economies. We donated to the Siriraj Foundation for every survey response.
