PyGress accepted at ASE 2025
PyGress, the senior project of Rujiphart Charatvaraphan, Bunradar Chatchaiyadech, and Thitirat Sukijprasert, was accepted in the Tool Demo track of ASE 2025, the 40th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering, which CORE ranks A*. PyGress is a web-based tool that evaluates and visualizes the proficiency of Python code using pycefr. It analyzes GitHub commit histories, maps code proficiency across the CEFR levels from A1 to C2, tracks how a project progresses over time, and shows each contributor's coding profile. Its interactive summaries let users explore how Python open-source projects and their contributors grow in proficiency. The team presented the tool at ASE 2025 in Seoul in November.
