Two papers accepted at ICSE 2026

Two papers with SERU member Morakot Choetkiertikul as a co-author were accepted at ICSE 2026, the 48th International Conference on Software Engineering, which CORE ranks A*. Both are led by Miikka Kuutila and Prof. Paul Ralph of Dalhousie University. The first introduces and validates the Software Infrastructure Attitude Scale (SIAS), a questionnaire that measures how professionals view the technical and sociotechnical infrastructure they work with. The second surveyed 224 software professionals, and those with higher job satisfaction and job embeddedness reported weaker plans to leave. They appeared at the conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in April 2026.
