Summer internships in Japan

Eight of our undergraduates spent the summer at partner universities in Japan and presented their results to their hosts in late July and early August.

• Krittanon Chongklahan and Pundharee Puckdinukul joined the Software Design and Analysis Laboratory at NAIST.
• Mana Sudthamma and Napasorn Lapprakobkit joined POSL at Kyushu University.
• Thanadon Yindeesuk and Kuntapat Asawaworarit joined Prof. Raula Gaikovina Kula's team at The University of Osaka.
• Yu-Han Huang and Natkrittar Maswongwiwat joined Tokyo City University.

Napasorn's internship study is now a paper at APSEC 2026.

• Prof. Hajimu Iida, Dr. Yutaro Kashiwa, Dr. Brittany Reid, and Mr. Rintaro Kanaji hosted the NAIST interns, who presented on 30 July 2026.
• Prof. Yasutaka Kamei, Dr. Masanari Kondo, Dr. Tao Xiao, and the POSL team hosted the Kyushu interns, who presented on 31 July 2026.
• Prof. Kenya Jinno and Prof. Makoto Oka hosted the Tokyo City University interns, who presented on 31 July 2026.
• Prof. Raula Gaikovina Kula and the team at The University of Osaka hosted the Osaka interns, who presented on 7 August 2026.
